Trinity and Ponderosa Entries due = by end of Divisionals meet; absolutely no events will be taken once the meet is over.  If you know you’ll be attending, please select events now!  Parents, please monitor the results as they are posted AT the swim meet, not online the next day or that night then decide you would like to enter an invitational.  It will be too late.

Lots of info below…

The end of the season is almost here.  The saying “the days are long, but the years go by fast” truly gets its’ meaning here.  We have this week of practice, Hurricanes meet, next week of practice, Divisionals, then one more week of practice for people that qualified and are attending Trinity and Ponderosa Invitationals.

To be able to swim at Divisionals, you must have swam that event at a meet besides our mock meet (so any dual meet, Sizzler, or Pentathlon counts as an official time).  Please select those events you’d like to swim now, as entries are due this Sunday since we exchange with the rest of the Division on Tuesday.

To be able to swim at Trinity and Ponderosa, you must qualify for these events.  At Trinity, there are two standards, “Gold” and “Silver”.  This is the same meet, same even #, just divided for awards purposes.  If you swim faster than a Trinity Gold, you’ve over-qualified for Trinity in that event and qualified in Ponderosa.  Once you over-qualify, you cannot swim that specific event at Trinity.  See attached meet invites that have time standards as well as the other attachments that show who has qualified in what.

Please let me know if you have any questions on any of these invites.  Entries must be done like any other swim meet, online.  If you plan on attending either event, please specify which days you’re going so we don’t put you on a relay for the day you aren’t attending with the RSVP feature like always.  Many people bounce back and forth between the meets since they may qualify for events in both.  Please look closely at the event locations and when the event is placed to make sure it is manageable.  We cannot afford to have swimmers on standby for relays at these meets if you aren’t sure.  The only way you will be entered in these invitational meets is if you do them online yourself.  We will have an ongoing list at Divisionals and possibly a laptop for you to do your entries there.  Please don't put this off if you're interested.  There will be a pre-order for Trinity shirts. Ponderosa gear is all at the meet.

Photos are in! Pick up your pictures in your awards folder at the pool along with any other time improvement or place ribbons from meets.

The lost and found bin is beginning to overflow with hundreds of dollars of lost fins and other randoms.  Stop by and browse to see if you see something you like I mean may be missing.

As you’ve noticed, we have a shiny new team record board at the pool!  We have had an overwhelming, prodigious, awe-inspiring amount of records broken again this season!  Understand if the board at the pool isn’t updated right away.  We plan on updating the board after the season is over, and possibly placing bright-colored paper on broken records in the mean time. The online team records should be up to date now.  If you see any issues, please let me know.
