Good morning Seals,

Thank you all for seamlessly moving pools yesterday under such short notice.  The chlorine levels were too low to continue swimming at POA pool.  I believe they began working on it as soon as we left and should be ready today or tomorrow.  As of now we are at The Falls on a Friday practice schedule until further notice.  Check your email and Facebook before heading to practice today in the event POA pool is back up and running.

Also, at practices, parents please fight the urge to coach your children yourself.  Take advantage of these 45 minutes to watch your swimmer, try and relax, maybe video them if they are doing something wrong to show them later.  The pool deck during practices is for coaches and swimmers only.  Unless there is an emergency, please remain away from the pool.  There is a good chance your swimmer is rolling their eyes and not listening to you anyway, because "mom and dad don't know anything."  (even if you were an elite swimmer/coach back in the day).  There are some teams that don't allow parents in the pool area to watch practice at all  ​.

If you are wanting one-on-one instruction, schedule a private lesson with a coach for before or after practice.

Meet entries are due tomorrow, Wednesday at noon.  Please don't wait until last minute to do these.  Since you've been able to do these for almost a month now for the rest of the season, valid excuses are running out ;)
