**Registration**

April 8th at the POA pool on Imperial Oaks Blvd from 10am – 2pm

Thursday, April 13th at the POA pool 4:30-8:00

POA will have a representative to verify Imperial Oaks addresses & to make sure your account is in good standing.

 

**Registration Fees**

1st swimmer - $230                             3rd swimmer - $145                *15/18 swimmers are FREE, when multiple

2nd swimmer - $155                             4th swimmer – FREE                swimmers are registering, the 15/18 swimmer

falls into the last swimmer listed for free. T-shirt and crawfish tickets are not included*

**Are you a NEW SWIMMER?  Come to ROOKIE CAMP – April 10-13**

All 1st year swimmers are invited & encouraged to attend Rookie Camp. This is for new swimmers get a feel for swim team and practice.  Our 2nd registration will be held Thursday, April 13th, after Rookie Camp for new swimmers.

 

**TEAM TRY OUTS for NEW SWIMMERS**

Team try-outs are required for all NEW swimmers & will be held at the POA pool during registration on April 8th & 13th.

6 & Under NEW swimmers will be evaluated on the ability to swim 25 yards of free-style unassisted with no time limit.  This is for your swimmer's safety.  Unfortunately, swim team is not a “learn to swim” program but a competitive program that builds on the fundamentals of swimming.

Swimmers 7-10 years old must be able to swim 25 yards of freestyle and backstroke in a minute or less.

Swimmers 11 and up must be able to swim 50 yards of freestyle and backstroke unassisted in a minute or less.

 

**EQUIPMENT needed for PRACTICE**

ALL Swimmers 7 & UP– will need a pair of swim fins and goggles.  These can be purchased at the SwimShop at the CISD Natatorium or Academy. Swim caps are also strongly encouraged.  All of these items can also be ordered at www.swimoutlet.com.

 

**IOST CAR WASH** Benefits the Senior Scholarship Program

Our 5th Annual IOST Car Wash will be held at Ace Hardware on April 29th from 9am – 2pm… Volunteers and Swimmers Needed!! Check out the website for more info – www.imperialoaks.swim-team.us

**CRAWFISH BOIL**

Our Annual Crawfish Boil will be on April 22nd from 4pm – until the crawfish are gone – Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the gate.  Each family will receive 4 tickets with their registration.
