Results, Invitational Reports, Relays

Seals and Parents,

See attached results from this past weekend’s Sprint Sizzler.  We had a lot of great swims and kids get their qualifying times they have been working towards for Ponderosa and Trinity.

Also attached, is an updated eligibility report for those swimmers that have qualified for Trinity and Ponderosa.

If your time is green, you’ve qualified for that event at that meet.  The order of Invitational time classes are Trinity Silver > Trinity Gold > Ponderosa.  Once you qualify for one, you can’t swim in the lower class.

Example 1:  your swimmer has had a Trinity Silver, TS, all season and at Divisionals they drop time and swim a Trinity Gold, TG, time.   They must now compete in the TG class at Trinity just for that event.  You can have multiple events in each TG and TS, just not the same event in both classes.  The computer automatically puts you where you’re supposed to be, it’s just a matter of do you want to do it or not J

Example 2: your swimmer has had a TG time all season, at this weekend’s meet or DIV they swim a PI time (fast!) they can only swim that event at Ponderosa.  If your swimmer has 5 TG times and 1 PI time, you cannot swim that PI event at Trinity.  You can do both if you want to try and drive from one pool to another.  Trinity and Ponderosa are the same weekend but different locations.

If you’re time is red and you haven’t qualified for either, check the qualifying time at the top of  the column for that event and see how close you are…you can qualify this weekend AND at Divisionals.  Like Sizzler, you will have until the end of the meet at Divisionals to qualify and sign up for your events.  We will have a computer at Divisionals for you to do this on so that there is no confusion with your entries.  You can go online and sign up for these meets now.  The team covers all fees so all you need to do is select your events.  There will be relays at both meets.
