Seals and Parents,

We are having some AWESOME swims at Sizzler today and are almost done.  We have tomorrow's session warm-ups from 3:47-4:04 and meet beginning at 5PM.  

We are seated in the back right section of the cafeteria.

We need to clear up that there is no official check-in where you get scratched from the meet if you don't check-in.  BUT if you aren't there after warm-ups when we are confirming all of our relays, and you haven't let someone know you're running late, then we will fill in that relay spot with another swimmer.  The only occasion where you wouldn't warm-up would be if you're in the last event of the day and only swimming that event, and that event isn't a relay.  I'm not sure where the idea of not warming up was invented, but we never advise or encourage it.  We want to let the other kids on the relay know that there will or will not be a relay so they don't wait around just to not swim.  

With that being said, if you won't be able to swim a relay you're entered in for tomorrow, regardless if we have spoken already or not, please reply to this email ASAP so we can plan accordingly.

 Tomorrow, Monday only, since we have Sizzler going on and one coach for practices, we will have practices ONLY at the POA pool.

730 - 7/8 year-olds

815 - 9/10 year-olds

900 - 6&Unders (boys and girls)

930 - 1030 All 11&Ups (11-18 year-olds)

 

Tuesday-Friday as weather permits, we will have our normal AM practice schedule which is:

13-18 @ Falls 730-830

815 -   9/10

900 - 6&Under (both groups)

930 - 1015/30 for 11/12 year-olds

We are going to have Divisionals at Kingwood High School this season.  The address, times and details about this meet will be sent out as we get closer.  There will be only A relays for this meet.  So if you're borderline A or B relay, you have the Sizzler and Windrose meet to swim your hearts out and earn that spot.  These are computer generated and we also take swimmer "reliability" into consideration while forming the relays.   

Let's try and get our events selected online today and tomorrow for the last two meets.  This can be done in just a few minutes and it really beings to multiply when we have 30 parents that missed the deadline x's three events.  That can take me 1.5 hours to do some weeks when it can be done now :)
