Summer Sizzler
Seals,
I hope everyone has electricity and staying dry. My car decided to take a nap while I was driving DOWN the Pasadena Ship Channel Bridge today on my way in to work this evening during our weekly monsoon. If you've ever driven on this bridge, you'll understand why I was able to skip the coffee tonight!
Attached is the timeline of Sizzler and our warm-up lanes and timer assignments. We MUST have a timer at our designated times and we will add these hours to count towards volunteering. They will not run the meet and call out our team over the intercoms until we show up.
Please arrive 30-60 minutes before our warm-up times to find the team, claim a spot, get familiar with the pool and where ready-benches are, and then of course warm-up. Please see attachment for our warm-up times for Sunday and Monday. Our team is "IOST".
There is no official check in, you just check in with the coaches that are there. Please please please let them know if you are on a relay that you cannot swim so that we may find an alternate or let the rest of the relay know there is a scratch (this goes for every meet!).
Keep in mind, this is an estimated timeline, things happen and events can happen sooner or later.
I'll be at the pool Friday and continue to check our website and Facebook for updates on weather. We will always plan on having practice and try to let you know about half an hour before we cancel anything.
Brandon
