IOST Families~

We are looking ahead to our end of season Invitational Meet, Trinity Summer Classic, that our own team-- IOST hosts at the Conroe ISD Natatorium.  This meet is held over 2 days, Saturday, June 25 (10 and under swimmers) and Sunday, June 26 (11 and up swimmers).  

We are in need of some key volunteer positions that we would like to fill and have someone be in charge of these areas specifically.  Without these key people our meet doesn't run as well.

These positions are:

Ready Bench - we are in charge of the bench all day Saturday and the girls bench on Sunday.  We need someone to lead the bench.  We will also have other volunteers, but we need a key person to be the leader. (Experience is needed, especially for 10 & Under relays)

Volunteer Coordinator - we need an on site coordinator that takes the needs of the meet and matches them with those folks who step up on the day of the meet.  This person will also coordinate with the participating teams to fill timer/scribe slots.  We have automation that will help with this, but we need to train the person who is going to be doing this role. This volunteer will be at a centralized location at the meet, and speak with members from other teams that walk up and offer to help, or have already signed up to help.  You will communicate where the needs are or send them to the location of where they might be volunteering.

Awards Coordinator - Trinity provides thousands of awards to the swimmers and we need one person to be in charge of coordinating other volunteers and the distribution process on meet days.  We will also have volunteers sign up to help, but again, we need one person to lead.

Please reply to this email if you are willing to take the lead on any of these volunteer positions.  We know it's early to be thinking about the end of season, but as we all know- organization is one of the reasons we run such a successful meet! :o)
