Practice Attendance

Seals and Parents,

Looks like the water and weather have warmed up a little and made it not so torturous to swim a few laps.  As some of you may have noticed, 7/8's and 9/10's are our biggest groups on the team, and also the most energetic!  Please only attend one practice session.  We are fortunate to be able to have every group practice five times a week compared to previous years with only four practices a week.

If you have a Seal in the 7/8 year-old group, and think they may need a little more one-on-one attention, please bring them to the 6&Under Practice from 4:30-5:30 and have them attend both of those sessions.  This is not an opportunity for them to double up on practices.  Once we/you/they feel comfortable enough to go back to the 7/8 practice, then we can make that move.  Everyone wins here: your new Seal gets a little more attention in a smaller group, they aren't constantly behind and feeling discouraged and out of breath.  No need to email me on this one, just show up.

11/12 and 13-18 Practices will be moving to The Falls pool where they can finally stretch out and have more room to swim.  Stay tuned for the actual date we make the transition, but it's looking like it could be as early as Monday, May 2nd.

That's it for today.  We do try and limit emails the best we can...I promise.  With that being said, sign up for the Practice meet this weekend by clicking swimmer icon, if you won't be there, that's when you use the RSVP icon and add your name to "not attending list" (doesn't seem right.....we know -_- )  This needs to be done every Wednesday by noon for every week we have a meet.  After this weekend, times will be imported and THEN you can sign up for the rest of the meets for the rest of the year...(our bad once again).

That's really it for today.
